PMI Model No. PTRAN-100M18G-SFB-3UVPX-MCU-MAH is a Transceiver covering the frequency range of 100 MHz to 18.0 GHz.  The Transceiver fits into a 3U Open VPX form factor utilizing two four position high speed VITA 67 RF connectors.  This unit up-converts a 100 MHz to 4.0 GHz transmit signal to the 2.0 to 18.0 GHz range.  This unit also down-converts a 100 MHz to 18.0 GHz received signal to the 100 MHz to 4.0 GHz intermediate frequency range for analog to digital conversion.  A receive filter bank incorporates a 2-Way absorptive switch to select an input, along with two six way switches allowing one of six filter paths to be chosen.  The unit includes a micro-controller allowing for ethernet control over the P1 connection and providing a total solution in a single backplane slot.
